What A YEAR!!!!!

Finally, the moment that i have been waiting is coming soooon....heehee.... next year the 2 of them will be going and coming home at the same time!!!! Yeah!!!!! 4hrs of free time!!!!

I dun have to rush like this year and can do my things slowly. Hope everything will go well next year.

This is a very bad year. Uncle passed away n then MIL jus found out that she had liver cancer. A woman who looked after what she ate n very careful how come leh. It very shocking to all of us. Doing chemo so hope that it helps. Will see the result on friday i think.

Happy news , sad news all came to this year. Heard that next year also not a very good year. Hai... i cross my finger lah...hope everyone can pull through it.

Califlower one pot meal

Now then i know that califlower have to cook till it very soft then nice.

So i cooked the califlower with any ingredients i have.

1 packet califlower
1 packet corn kernel
1 packet chickpeas (canned)
1 can ham
1 can abalone mushroom / button mushroom
1 chicken cube

1. i cook the corn n chickpeas and chicken cube 1st in a pot with water jus enough to cover them. Till boil.

2. Then i put the califlower into the boiling pot n also the mushroom. Add alittle bit more water jus enough to cover the vegetable.

3. Cooked for about 15mins or till califlower very soft.

4. Then i add abit corn starch, to make e soup abit thicken.

The above ingredient can make for 6paxs.

My Meat Balls Pasta

Been wanting to do this dish a long time along but the way they do it is to fry it. To me it very messy lor. So i try my own way of cooking it.

Ingrdents:
Mince meat, and mince salmon (mixed together)
mix herbs
1 - 2 tbs corn starch
2 tbs light soy sauce
pepper
2-3 celery
1 carrot
1 onions
3 clove of garlic
tomato sauce
tau pok (optional)
Pasta or rice

1. I mixed the mince meat, and minced salmon together. Add in also the mixed herbs, light soy sauce, corn starch and pepper. Mixed them very well.

2. Chopped the garlic and onions. Cut the the carrots, celery and tau pok into cubes.

3. Heat the pot with 2-3 tbs oil and then add in the onions and garlic. Stir fry for awhile then add in the tau pok and stir. About 2 mins later then add in the carrot and celery and add about half bowl water. And let it cook. Mean while can boil water for pasta.

4. when the water boil, then add in the mince meat. Using a spoon to make into balls. Add one by one. After all the balls are in, cover the pot and like it cook. If water not enought add some more water. When the meat are cooked, add in tomato sauce. Then turn off the heat.

5. When the pasta water boiled, add in the pasta and cook till tender.

6. Put the cooked pasta in a bowl and dish the meat balls soup on top of it.

The minced meat are very soft. It melt in your mouth. Hmmm...next time maybe i bake the meat balls then add into the soup. Yummy!!!!!!

Micro wave POP CORN

Always wanted to try this and finally got the chance. Bought this from Cold storage and not bad. At 1st abit scared( scared tat i will burnt my kitchen) but when the result it successful then very happy.

How to make uncrispy biscuits or chips crispy again!!!

Have you ever had a uncrispy or "LOU FENG" biscuits or chips? I do!! Cos i tend to buy them and then store them in the cupboard and forgot about them...haha.... And by the time i remembered them they alrdy not crispy or crunchy le.

So my way of making them "back to the way they are" (crunchy and crispy) is to put them in the refridge. For few hrs or for 1 day. And surprise when you open them, they are as before except they are cold...haha...

A Family night out

For this jun hoilday, we din travel out cos of the swine flu n also hb is very busy with his work. So we make time to bring them out to catch a moive - Monster Vs Alien

Went to West Mall cos got discount ticket which cost $6.50 per pax. And they need to buy ticket liao. This time round they were very quite watching the moive and no complained about go home half way the show. Hmm... Ashley was abit sick that day due to her cough n flu but she did enjoy herself n behave too.

After the show we went to Time Zone...wowow...haha...

Played some of the games with the kids... fun...They always played not enough one especially Benjy.

We also had our midnight shopping at Jurong Point NTUC which opened 24hrs.

The bad thing about midnight shopping is that you can't redeem any lucky draw if u spend $50 n above so no worth to shop lor. That night i needed to go cos i need ingredient for my feast on sat. so no choice.

13 Jun Celebrating Father's Day

I dun koe why, i always thought that Father's Day is on the 2nd week sunday on jun leh? Then saw the tv ads n they said is on 21 Jun. Hai... anyway, we celebrated Father's Day on 13 Jun at my hse n e four of us cooking something out...haha...1st time leh...n lucky din burnt down my kitchen....phew....

My tiramisu

For my part, i did a lasagne n tiramisu and some bake finger foods. Zhen did a potatoes samosa n cereal prawn w Ronald, Loon bought a roast duck and tao huay for breakfast, Hong well he is e chaffurer...haha....

The one "did alot of work" is Zhen lor, everything done in my hse from and took about 2hr to 3hrs jus for her potato samosa n cereal prawns. And she oni did the potatoes n Loon helped her shelled the prawns.

Wait till tired liao

I did my lasagne meat the day before and so it my tiramisu. So i jus need to prepared the sauce and put them in the baking tray and baked. So by 1pm we started to eat le And her prawn cereal still not cook yet. Cos Zhen cooked 12 potatoes and wrapped about more then 30 - 40 potaotes samosa.

Tofu Porridge

For lunch today, i cooked Egg Tofu Porridge. The combination smell of the xiao bai cai n the tofu is so nice n it a very simple n light meal.

1. 1 egg tofu
2. rice
3. mince meat
4. xiao bai cai
5. carrot
6. sotong ball (optional)

I cooked e rice n carrot n sotong ball (frozen) 1st till e rice is almost soft then add in the meat. Next when e porridge almost ready i add in the tofu n vegetables cook for abut 2-3mins then switch off the fire. Let the porridge sit for awhile before eating. I din add in any salt or soy sauce but you can add if u find it too plain.

MAy 09

Hmm...this mth, we celebrated my mum's birthday n mother's day on the same day. So Zhen suggested we went to this place to eat - Pang Xie (er wat i forgot liao..hahah) somewhere in bedok north near the 85 market there. But parking is a headache lor. All season parking so difficult to find one.

But not bad leh the crab eventhough i not really like to eat cos i find tat no much meat leh and all the shellssss..... and the zi cha there oso not bad.
After dinner, we went to Expo cos there got Metro sales and my hb n me went there to buy crocs shoes....hahaha...This mth we oso had my hb's bro wedding, so our 2 kids are to be their flower boy n gal, so we have to go find a nice gown n suite for them. We went to Tampines1 cos i went to the united kids store and there sold alot of gowns so i thought can surely found one for her but...not a single one lor...

then we had lunch at one of the restaurant. Forgt wat name lah but it gt buffet salad one and not bad leh....
In the end , we went to causeway point - kiddy palacce and bought e gown n suite for them.

Now NTUC memeber can go to OCC (Orchid Country Clud) to enjoy the facilities there. Ntuc member nd to buy a soical pass for guest n can oso enjoy. Tat day i didn't buy the social pass cos we oni need to play bowling n not much discount. But if u had the pass u can use the gym n pool for free.. good hor...next time must go n try again n hor parking is FREEEEE...haha....

While we were alying bowling, we put the kids at the indoor playground which cost abt 20+ for 2 kids for 1hrs. Well at least, we had an hr of peacefulness...haha...

We oso brought the kids to pasar malam walk walk. N had our dinner they. N we oso bpought 3 durians...nt enough to eat leh...
We oso went to the Jurong east safra, n though of signing up as a member but y as a member used the pool also must play leh... i think not worth lor n kids above five must pay oso.... not very attractive deal and parking to free too for memeber. Diao....
But we went there to have lunch n have free pop corns n candy floss...haha....

And this is one of our night out. WE can have sundae cos the kids were sleeping behind us...yummy...

We celebrated my dad's birthday buying cakes n eating out. So tat day both my parents very free cos they dun have to cook for us...haha....

1st we sing n cut the cake and then after that we went to Zhen's birdal shop and see her fitting her gown (final one)

After tat, at6pm we had dinner at one of the coffee shop nearby. Nvr try the food b4 n the Zi Cha is newly opened one so i said y not go there n eat n cos Hong need to fly off tat night so he don't want to go too far away one.
We ate n talked n laughed.... so happy eating together.

These 2 can't wait to play. Imediately after dinner they went to play liao.

In Apr, my hb n i went to Jarkatar to attend his bro wedding. Hai dun koe y sick during the whole trip. Think i did put in the blog....somewhere...haha....

What A "SHIT " DAy

Jus tis tuesday, after a long weekend. Benjy n Ashley dun have to go to school on monday. So when tuesday came i thought it a monday and i let them weared their blue uniform instead of P.E attire that day.

I oni noticed that when we were about near the school and saw all the students wearing P.E attire. I thought to myself...hai..too late to went back home to change liao. Maybe later i bring the clothe for them to change but in the end i din cos i too lazy to went back to school..haha..

Ok nvr mind so we continued the walked to school, whose knows on the way i saw 2 HUGE shit on the road side grass. HUGE one lor and seems like it from a human being. So i make sure they dun step on it and continued to school.

After dropping them off to school i went home but theni have to pass my way home through that 2 shit and what did i saw..someone step on the shit...haha....it were in the grass and now it on the pathway...diao...how they walked one.

11am, time to fetched Ashely. When the teacher opened the door i expected to see her standing at the 1st one but today she stand so far back. I saw her hand carrying a big palstic bag ( din koe wat it it yet) then she saw me and satrted to cried very loudly. So her teacher ask her to come out 1st and koe wat, the teacher told me she step on SHIT while having P.E. Diao......

The plastic bag contain her shoe and socks and so she wear the school provided slipper home. And on the way keep crying cos i keep asking her how come she step on the shit leh. I keep asking her another way of how come leh and finally she said she was hopping hopping and then step on it lor. Wah hahahaha.....

Ai wat a shit day manz......

Been feeling weird this few weeks

Feeling weird. Symptom like pregnant like that. But tested last week negative leh. Been feeling light headed and feel like vomiting. Dun koe whether is it cause by the heaty weather. Hmmm... and missing mense tis month , 1 week liao. How leh? Want to test again not???

33 - 35 degree ~~ Melting ~~

Wow, this few weeks weather are so bad. Been sweating through the morning night. Eventhough got fan, the wind is warm one. So every night now must switch on air con for my room.

Ashley the worse cos she got eczema. So when it warm n sticky, she tend to scratch and specially her neck n back area, now very rough liao. She need to washed her body 2x a day.

So now, i started to cook some cooling dessert for them, like green bean soup and fu zhu dessert. Hope the weather can get better man.

How i miss the weather of hong kong that time so cooling~~

Bodyache for Me!!!!

Ai Yoi, dun koe what happen, i was well in tuesday morni n afternoon. That day i cooked green bean soup for lunch. Then at nite i cooked peanut butter noddles. YES, it is peanut butter . I seached the web for some receipe and found this. The comments was very nice, very good. So i looked at the ingredient and found that i have all of them so i decided to cooked that at nite.

I think it the peanut noodle that make me sick lah..cos my mind always tell me peanut butter is for bread..haha...but my 2 kids can finished and they are ok leh. The noodle when hot is delicous but when cool, it smell like vomit. Yucks!!!!!

I started to have the bodyache after bathing the 2 kids. And after i bathe finished i was so uncomfortable man. The feelinf was like you were having a high fever and the whole body aching from head to toes. That nite i was moaning all nite till morni i'm still aching. So slept through the half of the morni till my kids are back frm school (of cos, hb taking morni off :P) Afternn i felt much better and can sleep the floor liao.

ohhh!!! What A weekend~

Last weekend, we were suppose to go Desaru with my hubby's family. But whose know, ashley had stomache but no poopoo and vomit on friday nite, nvr mind. But you know where she did it, on my BED!!!! Wow i so angry man... have to throw away that bedsheet lor n her pyjamas.

After she vomited she went to sleep liao till the next morni. That nite i told my hb tat i will not bring her to Desaru lor. Then the next morni, ashley said her stomache not pain leh so thought she ok but i still dun want her to go lor..so troublesome to find toilet outside leh.

After drinking her milk , she started to complain stomache pain liao BUT she still want to followed her daddy on the trip. So we were suppose to meet at his parent;s place and lucky his bro was late and so i think of all sort of excuses to make ashley stay back. The last excuses i used was "i will bring you go see doc". Surprise she said ok and i carry her home and let her sleep 1st.

We slept till 9plus in the morni then wake up. She started her diarrhea after she peepee and it won't stop liao lor. That sat she diarrhea about 7-8 times and no appetite ans she slept alot. About 1pm then i bring her went to see doc cos her diarrhea not back to back liao. But who knows the clinic closed at 12.30...hai..so i bring her go plaza to buy some more of the diarrhea powder and bought her a new sandals cos her old one spolit liao. Feed her some powder and she stop diarrhea at 4pm and can ate some porridge.

Sun she had diarrhea 2x and she slept alot alot and din really eat anything. Monday she diarrhea again n so i brought her to see doc. Suspect eat wrong food and alittle stomach flu. After taking the medicine she no more diarrhea liao.

So lucky nvr went to Desaru cos hb said very hot and with her like that dun koe where to put her man and to find toilet But the way their toilet must pay money one.

"Shen Qi" Bicarbonate Soda

Have been reading alot about the soda. They say it can clear odour like food and also stain. So last year, i tried it on my kitchen wall tiles and counter top. As i want to give my wall tiles a through cleaning, so i pour quiet amount of the soda and a little water on the counter top and used a toothbrush to pick up some of the soda and start cleaning it.

Actual dun have to use alot of force but if the stain it stubborn then u must scrub n scrub and scrub. The dirt really come out very easily. Till now my tile is still very white. Then it most incredible thing is that before i started to clean my counter, my counter top will have some tiny ants crawling here n there. And my kids cup sometimes will have ants in their cups. So after i scrubbed the whole area, till now i don't see any of them liao (cross my fingers).

Just yesterday i poured 1 tablespoon of the bicarbonate soda into a pail, filled it up with water and using a cloth, i mopped the whole area again. It will really catch any dirt and make the place clean again. U shld give it a try. (",)

No mood to do anything

Hmm... really very tired and lazy leh. Don't know is it becos went to 2 holiday trips and became lazy alrdy.

The trip to Hong Kong was fun but the one to Jakarta was torture. Sick frm the time i went up the flight. Lucky it not serious cos i still can went around the city with my family and eat the local food.

But hor the weather there i can't take it eventhough it the same temperature as Singapore. But really there is a different. I dun really sweat over there when standing under the sun. In Singapore, i sweat like hell...haha...

We went to their new shopping mall (MOI). Very big and some shops still not opened yet. Then we also eat at their local restaurants and also went to their Mangga Dua where they sell alot of handbags (fake), clothing, shoes , bedsheet and many more. Haha.. i bought a LV bedsheet.
If i were to go to Jakarta again i will go here again.

Finally HK Disneyland Trip Uploaded....

Pheee....just finished writing our trip to Hong Kong. We had a great time. The 2 had their 1st experience of flying in a plane and they are very excited.

牛年新年快了!!!!!!

Wow!!!! Almost coming to the end of the CNY. This year ok. Both my kids grow up liao so don't have to bring so many stuff out (etc like pamper, milk powder, cream).

So like always, they saw food they will just take and eat (without asking us for permission) so for the 2 days outing, they have been eating all the new goodies. Lucky they are still well except that Ashley have a running though not serious but very irritating. Then their daddy sick since the 1st day...diao....but still can go out lah...just cough....cos he been sailing b4 CNY....so....

Haha...for this CNY, i DIY my hair, makeup and my fingernails. And on the eve i oso cut my hb's hair...lucky this time one very very nice....haha....

Maybe too much free time liao or i'm mature liao... till this age then i know how to apply makeup (like draw eyeliner n eyebrow). So been doing all DIY thing my self.

We bought a pinky boot for Ashley. Wow very cute when she wears it and she like it very much. And when she wear a short skirt, she so BIMBO...haha

2 weeks in school liao

Yr 2009, both my 2kids are going to school liao. One in K1 (very fast hor) and the other in nursery.

The 1st week was not bad lah. Just that Ashley kept crying when she is about to go into her classroom. On the way there, she din show that she dun like or upset about. It oni when she is going INTO the class then she cried liao. And she also wanted me to go in with her. Actually can if the child is very scared or wat. BUT i din go in with her cos i dun want it to become a hibit for her. Maybe she saw some of her friends parents also in there, so she also want me there too.

So everyday before going to school , i will remind her, you cannot cry in school huh. But she reply me, " i want to cry". Diao...i dun koe how to talk to her liao.

Then came the 2nd week, so this week i told, ok Ashley, you can cry in school today. And she look at me and smile. So i prepared myself that she is going to cry again. BUT surprise surprise!! When we reached her class, i'm about to bring her in but she said, wait wait. So i wait awhile (few sec oni..haha) and ask her can go in already. Then she said wait wait. Another sec i said , hey your teacher looking for you liao. Then she just let go if my hand and walk in herself and turn to tell me, i dun want you to come in. (O.o) So from this week onwards, she did not cry liao.

Today we were very early (cos everyday late want...haha..afew mins oni lah), so i tell her , hurry go Q up. And she happily happily run to her class and she is the 1st one to go in 2day. Wow...and that make me happy...haha

As for Benjy, he is a very good boy. He din cried this year. Actually last year he oni cried less than 3 times or so. And everyday he is so eager to go to school.

So now me very free in the morning liao. Everyday wake up at 6.45am but will drag n drag till almost 7.10am then wake up...haha. So by that time it already very late liao, have to make their milk and bread and feed them. Then sometimes they need to go toilet. Then i have to dress up , tie my hair. So everything have to be done by 7.50 am the latest. Then it took us about 15mins to reached the school. Then after that i will go home and do housework lor. Sweep, mop , clean, and cook. Then by 10.45 , i have to leave home to fetch Ashley. Then have to wait till 12pm for Benjy. During that time Ashley and i will do nothing. Sometimes go shopping walk walk , sometimes jus sit at the school there and talk rubbish...haahaa...

Metro Salesssss....

Remember the Metro sales ended on 4 Jan 09. The best catch of the sales should be the crocs shoe. Up to 80% discount. Wow!!!!!

The crocs had their sales since 2months ago, at differnt time n place.

We went to their warehouse sale at (dun koe where) wow the Q was.... so,.... long and oni one way excess to the lift and moving at a very very slow speed. So ended up we didn't get to see wat they are offering. Next they have it at expo i think but we din go too.

So when they had it with Metro and the sales last for a week and so we went take a look on a week day.

The crocs were displayed at the very very ended of the hall at a whole stretch. They had lady's, gentle and kids one. Too bad i can't find one that i like. Hahaha....BUT, the rest found wat they want. So we bpught 4 pairs of crocs shoes at $110. Wow Wow Wow.... If it the normal price, think u can buy so many pairs at that price...haha...
